Pro Wrestling Africa set to crown first women’s champion on June 15th

‘’MID YEAR BASH PRO WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP HOLDING IN LAGOS, NIGERIA WILL SHOWCASE THE BETTER AFRICAN LADY WRESTLER’’ - Emmanuel Ndo

The National President of the Cameroon Pro Wrestling Federation (FECACATCH) and the 1st Vice President of Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), the apex body overseeing professional activities in Africa, Air Force Commander Emmanuel Ndo, has confirmed that he is coming to Lagos, Nigeria with lady wrestler Vadex Pone. Vadex will participate in the Mid-Year Bash Pro Wrestling Championship being held at the NIS Gymnasium Hall, National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos in Nigeria on Saturday 15th June, 2024 and will challenge Jenna Swift of Liberia to determine the first ever Pro Wrestling Africa Women’s Middleweight Champion.

Ndo is excited that all arrangements have been put in place to successfully host the much talked about PWA Mid-Year Pro Wrestling Championship. Ndo, who will be leading the Cameroon lady talent to Lagos for this timely wrestling championship, in an interview from Yaoundé emphasized that the championship will showcase the better African lady in the middleweight category and be the best pro wrestling show to ever be held in Lagos, Nigeria in the women middle weight category.

The President of FECACATCH explained to our correspondent that all is set to stage this timely and epoch making event in Nigeria, a nation where Pro Wrestling activities have been taking place since the 1960s, a multinational nation inhabited by more than 250 ethnic groups speaking over 500 distinct languages, all identifying with a wide variety of cultures.

‘’We are set to participate in the MID-YEAR BASH WRESTLING CHAMPIONSHIP 2024. Cameroon pro wrestling talents are doing great and I am indeed proud of that. For your information, Buffalo defeated The Destroyer of USA on the 25th of May in Florida, USA in an elimination fight and he is now qualified to vie for the world Super Heavyweight title and I am very much optimistic he will win in the coming year. De Wolf NDA is in Texas, USA making exploits while The Animal though based in Yaoundé in Cameroon won the PWA-AIWF world Champion in Yaoundé, Cameroon last year July after defeating the Golden Boy. Cameroon as a nation has not done badly and we are not going to relent on our activities,” boasted Ndo.

Olusesan Olukoya, the Secretary General of the Pro Wrestling Africa (PWA), analyzed that he has been traveling to Cameroon since 2015 and he is proud of the wrestling talents the nation of Cameroon has produced over the years, a nation often known as “Africa in miniature” because of its geographical and cultural diversity. The Central African country has one of the highest literacy rates on the continent, and the sport of pro wrestling is doing well in the nation governed by President Paul Biya.
