Dubai’s WrestlingME teaming up with Allied Independent Wrestling Federations
Dubai’s WrestlingME and the Allied Independent Federations have reached an agreement that will allow the two groups to work together and expand their brands in each other’s home territory.
For those unfamiliar with either group, WrestlingME is the top promotion in the United Arab Emirates and the only promotion in Dubai that has been active over the last year or so. The AIWF is a governing body attempting to create a worldwide pro wrestling territory system. We covered the AIWF and their long history and ambitious project in this story last year.

The AIWF recently shared a post to Facebook with the news of the newly developed relationship. The AIWF shared that they hope that this relationship will help expand awareness of their brand in the Middle East and in turn expand WrestlingME’s audience in the United States.
WrestlingME has been active throughout the pandemic period, holding events somewhat regularly. Their next event is actually scheduled for this Saturday, January 8, 2022 starting at 7 PM Dubai time. The event is called New Year’s Retribution and will be held at the WME training facility located at the Just Play Sports Complex in Dubai. Details including the scheduled matches have not yet been made public.
The AIWF now boasts over 100 members over dozens of countries in their attempt to build a worldwide pro wrestling territory system. For more information on them, check out the AIWF Facebook page. For more information on WrestlingME, check out their Facebook and Instagram pages.
