35 year old Kumar Thapa, who has his ring name as Nepali Bro and is the current Nepal Women Wrestling Foundation (NWWF) Cruiserweight champion and title holder, has eyed Africa and has been seeking means of storming the shores of the Nigerian nation before the year runs out to deal with wrestlers in his Cruiserweight category. What gave him the confidence that he can have an easy ride professionally in Nigeria with just two years experience? Is he aware that black means power in our part of the world? Nuwakot in Nepal born-Kumar, who became a wrestler in April 2021 under the training of talented lady champion Bhagwati Khadka Unika, President of the Women Wrestling Foundation and Nepal's first international female wrestler, has competed in 10 companies to date and he is ready to tour the world of professional wrestling. Kumar was encouraged to become a wrestler by the uniqness of lady wrestler Unika and the doggedness of US talent John Cena whom he has regularly seen competiting on television and in video.
Kumar, who had Dep of India as his first opponent and JB Cool of USA as his toughest opponent to date, informed our correspondent that he has heard a lot about the prowess of Nigerian pro wrestling talents and it will not be a bad idea to come and see for himself. The Nepal war lord who has John Cena as his most respected wrestler and the personality he would like to meet and shake hands with has competed in Singapore, Qatar, India, China and Europe.
