World Wrestling Congo Prepares to Crown First Champion
Congolese wrestler Dix-Francs is inching closer to crowning a first champion in his new promotion World Wrestling Congo. A ring has been acquired and a date will soon been set for the first championship fight in the history of the WWC.
For those that have been following WrestleMap, you’ll know that the WWC and their title belt hold a special place in our hearts. The WWC championship title features a logo that was designed by WrestleMap as the main plate on the belt, both of which are pictured below.
With World Wrestling Congo, Dix-Francs is hoping to make a major impact in the world of Congolese wrestling. Currently, most wrestlers compete without pay in the DRC and fans attend the majority of events for free. Making wrestling a better experience for fans and more lucrative for the wrestlers is one of the main goals of the WWC.
Dix-Francs has experience wrestling in South Africa which is perhaps the biggest stage to compete on in the entire African continent. He is well equipped to help work toward these changes and has the right amount of experience to make his wrestling dreams a reality. Everyone here at WrestleMap is very excited for the WWC and can not wait to watch it succeed.
